Workshop to implement the project "Strengthening coordination among state agencies, organizations and communities to ensure the rights of children with disabilities of ethnic minorities in educational inclusion"

Lacew Center held a project inception workshop in Tan Lac district - Hoa Binh
 


On October 1, 2020, the Center for Legal Advice and Legal Aid for Women and Children (LACEW) in coordination with the People's Committee of Tan Lac District, Hoa Binh Province held a workshop to introduce the project: “Strengthening coordination among state agencies, organizations and communities to ensure the rights of children with disabilities from ethnic minorities in educational inclusion ”.
The workshop was attended by leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province; leaders of District People's Committee, leaders of Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, District Doan, District Women's Union, Tan Lac District Department of Education and Training; leaders of People's Committee, social affairs officer, Women's Union of Phu Vinh commune, Phu Cuong, Suoi Hoa, Ngoc My - Tan Lac district.
At the seminar, participants were told and shared about the main contents of the project, agreed to select the working group members, roles, functions and duties of the participants; point out opportunities and challenges when implementing, thereby agreeing the time to implement activities, coordination mechanism among stakeholders in the implementation of project activities.
   
At the seminar, Mr. Le Chi Huyen - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Lac district assessed the need of the project to the locality, and at the same time directed the project and the working group to urgently implement the activities, ensure efficiency and on schedule; In the process of implementation, arising difficulties, it is necessary to urgently report to the District People's Committee for direction, and at the same time note that in the process of implementing the activity, it is necessary to identify the right subjects of children with disabilities, not to miss out and do not mistake disabled children.
